In our "all About Me" unit, Patchwork Preschool's 4 year olds are learning how to be good friends to others. First, we read "The Rainbow Fish." Then we made a cooperative Rainbow fish to hang in our classroom and always remind us how to be a great friend.
Then we played a super fun game of "musical hula-hoops." But instead of people getting out when a hoop was removed, we used our friendship skills and decided to share the remaining hoops!
Lastly, we read "The Lion & the Mouse," played the friendship squeeze game, made a friendship chain, and were awarded with "Good Friend" badges. It was a great day!
