Welcome To Santa's Workshop!

December 17th & 18th, 2011

Kirby the elf brought us a letter from Santa today!  Santa said he was a little overwhelmed this Christmas season and needed the help of all the kids at Patchwork Preschool!

First, we made elf hats so we would look the part!

Then, we made peppermint-glitter play dough to give to some girls and boys that are on the nice list.  We also made our own wrapping paper to wrap it in!

Next, we read some elf stories...

And then finally had a wonderful elf snack!

What a great time we had as we became elves and helped Santa in our very own elf workshop!

I Am Thankful For...

November 21st & 22nd, 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at Patchwork Preschool!  It included fun activities, a bounteous feast, and of course feeling very thankful!

S is for Silly!

Patchwork Preschool's 3 year olds learned the "s" sound this week - so we thought it would be great to have a silly day!  We sang silly songs, played silly games, read silly books, made silly faces, and dressed up with silly hair, hats, shoes and clothes!  We hope you have a fun & silly day too!

Happy Halloween!  Our stundents got to come to school today in their costumes, have a Halloween party, then sing for their parents!  Watch these darling videos of our little performers!

Firefighters to the Rescue!

The 4 year old classes at Patchwork Preschool have been studying fire safety - so we took a tour of our local fire station!  We really learned a lot and had a fun time!  Miss Rebecca even got dressed up like a firefighter!  Take a look:
