Today, Patchwork Preschool's 4 year old afternoon class was lucky enough to have Dr. McCarter come visit our school! We talked about what it's like to be a doctor, looked at some of his neat tools, and learned some things we can do to stay healthy! Thanks for visiting our class, Dr. McCarter!

Brush The Sugar Bugs Away!
Today we had Mrs. Huff, a dental assistant, come to Patchwork Preschool's 4 year old morning class to tell us some very important things about keeping our teeth healthy. We talked about brushing, flossing, visiting the dentist, and making sure we don't let sugar bugs stay on our teeth!
Mrs. Huff told us that we should brush our teeth twice a day.
She showed us all her neat tools and we got to look in our mouths with her little mirror.
Say ahhhhh!
We learned how a mask will help us not to share germs.
She also taught us the right way to brush our teeth.
Then we all got a turn practicing brushing teeth the right way!
Then we were lucky enough to each receive a bag with a new toothbrush, floss and toothpaste!
Thanks Mrs. Huff for coming to our classroom!

Welcome To Santa's Workshop!
December 17th & 18th, 2011
First, we made elf hats so we would look the part!
Then, we made peppermint-glitter play dough to give to some girls and boys that are on the nice list. We also made our own wrapping paper to wrap it in!
Next, we read some elf stories...
And then finally had a wonderful elf snack!
What a great time we had as we became elves and helped Santa in our very own elf workshop!
I Am Thankful For...
